Cardz TV Designers Challenge #3 Ribbon

I am really enjoying the card making challenges at Cardz TV. I am a new card maker and I love looking at cards people make. I have always been more of a card looker than a maker. I would tell myself that I would eventually be inspired by the cards I saw enough to actually make something. Now I am finally making cards and learning along the way.

For this challenge I was inspired by some of Mary's older (3+ years) videos. I am talking about the ones she made which highlighted scriptures from Dee's Bugaboo Boutique-Ruby Tuesday Scripture at deesbbboutique.blogspot.com. I thought those cards were so beautiful. I love how the focus of the card was on the scripture text. I hope to make some cards using the scripture texts in the future too. I know my mother would love a card I made highlighting a beautiful scripture. Maybe I can use something for Mother's Day?

I found a nice Irish blessing/saying that I typed and printed out to feature on my card. I was originally going to print a saying that was already designed but what I had in mind just didn't work out. On the inside of the card I will print out "Happy St. Patrick's Day!" and frame it on a black mat.

Hearts Challenge for Cardz TV/Blog
I almost waited until the last moment to do this card challenge for Cardz TV. I wanted to make some 3x3 cards to put into Valentine treat bags for a few of my co-workers. So I thought this would be a great opportunity to make cards featuring hearts. It was a fun challenge!
